Parking Sensors Installation & Repair

We can provide installations of rear parking sensors. It is important that your parking sensors are installed correctly and by somebody with experience. The shape and size of your vehicle as well as the type of vehicle can all have an affect on where the best place to install these sensors are.

Once installed parking sensors will provide an audible cue giving you an accurate indication of how close an object is to the rear of your vehicle. Generally parking sensors work in 4 stages:

• Between 2m to 1.6m from an object - no sound
• 1.5m-1.0m - three beeps at long intervals
• 0.9m-0.5m - three beeps at shorter intervals
• 0.4m to 0.3m - three rapid beeps
• 0.2m > 0.0 - continuous sound
